Do I Need a Florida Fishing License?

 

NO. Our boats hold Federal Fishing Permits which will allow you to fish without purchasing a license.

What’s included in the price?

 

We provide you with ALL fishing equipment to ensure a fun day at sea; fishing license, rods, bait, tackle, fish rags to wipe your hands & ice to keep your fish cold! We also clean & filet your fish. If you want to take them whole, that is always your choice. 

Is Gratuity Included in the price?

 

If you are fishing on the Eddy Lee Z the answer is NO. All prices are subject to Gratuity that goes directly to the Crew. Simply put, the crew works for tips. The standard is 15-20%.

At what time do we need to be on location to depart? And where are you located?

 

We require that you arrive 45 minutes in advance of your scheduled departure time. We are located at The Seafood Shack Marina Bar & Grill @ 4110 127th St W, Cortez FL 34215

Are children allowed?

Yes, children are always allowed. We are a family oriented business!

What should I bring on my Trip?
 
We suggest wearing UV protective clothing, sunglasses and Waterproof Sunscreen. During the winter months it can get chilly in the morning, so dressing in layers is always your best bet. We require that you bring a cooler with beverages to keep you hydrated, along with sandwiches and light snacks. Please pack ice in your cooler. We DO NOT SELL ICE or provide Ice for your personal coolers.
Can I drink Alcohol?
 
We do allow beer and wine on board. However we do NOT allow any type of Hard Liquor or Controlled Substance.
What Can’t I bring on my Trip?
 
No Hard Alcohol, No Illegal Drugs, NO Weapons or Firearms. No GPS or Navigation Devices.
Any recommendations for Sea Sickness?
 
If you are worried about becoming seasick, we recommend that you purchase an over the counter remedy such as Dramamine, always take the night before so it is in your system. If you prefer something natural we suggest ginger capsules you can find in any health food store.
